Licensed by the Ministry of Law

A Licensed Money Lender in Chinatown Since 2004.
Verify Us Before You Trust Us.

Money worries are heavy enough without wondering if the lender is safe, or whether you will be judged for walking in. EZ Pte Ltd is licensed by the Ministry of Law, and you can check our name on their public registry before you tell us anything. Then come in, ask whatever you like, and be spoken to with respect. Borrow only when you are ready.

Why Choose Us

You Were Right to Check. Here is How to Know We Are Real.

Every licensed moneylender in Singapore is on one public list, kept by the Ministry of Law. No exceptions. A lender is either on that list or they are not. A loan shark never is. So before you trust anyone, including us, do this first: open the Ministry of Law registry and find our name. It takes under a minute. We would rather you checked.

We are on the Ministry of Law registry Find our name yourself before you say a word to us. A loan shark cannot pass this test.

We have a real office in Chinatown you can walk into Not a phone number that disappears. The same trade in Chinatown since 2004. Walk in and see for yourself before you decide anything.

We explain every term in English or Chinese, until you understand it The thing our borrowers say most often afterwards is that everything was explained clearly. That is the standard, not the exception.

We never pressure you Take only what you came for, or walk out with no loan at all. No fuss either way.

We never do what the law forbids We never hold your NRIC, never ask you to sign a blank contract, and never harass you or your family. All of that is illegal. Any lender who does it is one to walk away from today.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about approval time, Singpass, borrowing limits, interest and repayments.

How fast can I actually get the money?

As fast as 30 minutes from when you sit down with us, approved and paid out in the same visit. That is the best case, for someone with straightforward income and documents ready.

If your situation is more complicated—self-employed income, an existing loan, or patchy documents—it will take longer while we work through it properly.

Bring your:

  • NRIC
  • Latest payslips or income documents
  • Proof of address

We will tell you honestly within minutes which case you are.

Licensed. We are on the Ministry of Law registry and you can check our name yourself before you contact us.

A loan shark harasses you, holds your NRIC, and hides the terms. We do none of that. It is against the law.

Singpass is the government’s own login, the same one you use for CPF and IRAS. It lets us see your verified income safely, so we can tell you what you qualify for without you digging up documents.

We never see your password. If you would rather not use it, WhatsApp or call us and we will help you another way.

It depends on your income.

If you earn under $20,000 a year, up to $3,000. If you earn more, up to six times your monthly income, counting every licensed lender together.

When you check with Singpass, we can tell you your figure straight away.

The most any licensed lender can charge is 4% a month, under Ministry of Law regulations. Your rate is set after we assess your application.

By law, the total of all interest and fees can never add up to more than the loan itself.

If a payment is late, the law allows:

  • A late fee of up to $60 that month
  • Late interest only on the amount that is overdue, not on the rest of your loan

That is the honest answer. The better answer is this: tell us early. Come in or message us before the date. We would far rather work out a way through with you than let it grow.

We check the Moneylenders Credit Bureau, so your record matters. But a bank saying no does not always mean we will.

If your situation is not straightforward, come in and talk to us. We will tell you honestly where you stand and what your options are.

Yes. Foreigners living and working in Singapore can borrow from licensed lenders.

  • If you earn under $10,000 a year: up to $500
  • If you earn $10,000 to under $20,000: up to $3,000
  • If you earn $20,000 or more: up to six times your monthly income, the same as everyone else

Check with Singpass and we will tell you your exact figure.
